Dips are for real

All Hellhounds Eve draws nearer and nearer.

I am the ruthless Heiress of a long Dynasty of Catalonian Vampire Dogs. Catalonian Hellhounds are called Dips and appear on many coats of arms. They are mischievous black long-haired dogs who earn their living as loyal emissaries of the Devil, enjoy sucking people's blood -and are otherwise handsome and gentle beings. My bloodthirsty ancestors return to life on this most canine of all festivities.

Happy Hellhounds Eve to all my friends!

  1. Haven't you noticed that there are always more trick-or-treaters than children in your neighbourhood? Don't you find surprising how astonishingly real their costumes and their masks look? Can't you smell the faint, sweet, rotten perfume of soil in their breath? It's The Apparently Dead, returned to life for just this Eve: Hellhounds are amongst us, demand their candy bones.

  2. Aléjate del Dip, mi amor, mantén
    tu sangre a buen recaudo.
    Es insaciable el catalán vampiro
    y su crudeza, extrema.
    Tu impávida inocencia lograría
    burlar a Satanás,
pero la sed del Dip nada respeta:
    Puede su fuerza insana
dejar las venas de una diosa yermas.

  3. I've mentioned hellhounds on this blog quite a couple of times but not everybody believes in their existence. Now I've found a scientifically sound proof that they are real -on this Ten Ways documentary. Please pay special attention to the hellhound's drawing at the end of the clip: "And that's Black Shuck." Enjoy the video. And always beware of The Ghostly Black Dog!
